3-Day Meal Plan
Teens
require a lot of energy because of the fact that they are active and still
growing. There are a variety of different foods that a teen can choose to
eat but they also need to know what is the best for them. This is shown
especially in the case of teens with diabetes. A person of any age with
diabetes must manage a low sugar diet due to the problems with insulin that the
disease puts on their body. So, to help with this problem, I give to you
readers, a three-day meal plan. This will shine some light over different
food choices that are allowed inside your diet.
First,
is the most important meal of the day… Breakfast. Our team has come up
with three choices for breakfast so that you can having something different
each day. Our first menu item for breakfast would be boiled eggs with
brown rice and a green smoothie. The green smoothie will vary upon what
ingredients you choose to add to it. A vegetable with a lot of health
benefits to keep in mind is kale. The second menu item is a bagel with a
light cream cheese spread topped with lox with a roasted potato and a bowl of
strawberries. Finally, for the third breakfast item, porridge with an egg
white spinach and cheese omelet with unsweetened Greek yogurt and a lightly
buttered toast.
Moving
onto lunch, we have more meal plans, but the meal plans are lighter to give a
slight energy boost to get you through the middle of the day. The first
lunch item, is a roasted chicken, a salad, and something healthy like oranges
or carrots. The second lunch item, is a turkey sandwich, an apple, and a
glass of skim milk. Finally, for the third menu item, we have Beef
Bourguignon with applesauce, with apple juice or skim milk.
Lastly is dinner, and our team has made some
‘special’ meals to end the day with. Starting off with the most modest
item on the menu is a baked salmon with brown rice and corn on the cob or some
olives. The next menu item is a lean cut of steak with mashed potatoes,
carrots, and corn. And, to top it all off, lightly salted escargot, with asparagus
and avocados.
All of these menu
items have been chosen to best give you a diet plan that suits all of the
requirements of your diet
restrictions and still give you an excellent meal. I hope that you enjoy
all of the different choices of dishes that this blog provided and that this
blog helped take some of the difficulty of finding healthy foods. Happy
eating!
